About Us

Grist International was set up by experienced migration agent Jo Grist in 2003. Jo, who is from the UK, was frustrated by the lack of support for migrants and wanted to set up a company that was run my migrants for migrants. A company that understands what it is like to go through the process and know that not all your questions are about visas, but also what it is like to move and live there.

Jo has been visiting Australia since 1988, initially as a backpacker on a working holiday visa, falling in love with the country and taking every opportunity to get back there. In 2002 she persuaded her carpenter/builder husband that they should move out to Australia permanently and finally in February 2004 they arrived with their 3 dogs: Taz, Zach And Holly. They currently live in Queensland, just North of Brisbane.

Jo has earned an excellent reputation as a registered migration agent, with over 50% of our new clients coming from recommendations. Jo is also featured regularly in the Australia And New Zealand Magazine   "Ask the Experts" section and also is frequently asked to contribute to articles for the Emigrate Magazine.

Please feel to contact us at any time or use the chat button on the left hand side to talk to one of our representatives.
