This visa will allow an employer to employ overseas workers for a period of between three (3) months and four (4) years. It will also allow the employee to bring any immediate family such as spouse and dependent children with them on the same visa, with full work and study rights. Dependent children are classed as those under 18, or under 25 providing they are still in full time education and not married. The employee and family after arriving in Australia can then enter or leave Australia as many times as required during the validity of the visa. Renewing of the visa: It is possible to renew this visa, but the employee must lodge a new visa application ideally before the old one expires. The new employer must also lodge a new sponsorship and/or nomination if valid sponsorship or nomination does not already exist.
